If I could leave a 10 star review, I would! My husband and I arrived in Vassena a couple of nights before our 5 year anniversary, and after eating at Ristorante Al Molo 5 that first night, we knew this was the spot for our anniversary dinner. The food and wine selection was intentional and spectacular. The food was among the, if not the most delicious food we have ever had. Still dreaming about it. As if that isn’t enough, the waiters were absolutely delightful. Charming, kind, welcoming, funny, and attentive. They were extremely knowledgeable and gave advice when warranted as well! Then there’s the view… it’s then that you really question if this is all real, or if you’re in the most delightful dream, or fell into a painting. We hope to go back one day!

Absolutely wonderful..we r staying at Airbnb next door and how lucky we are.. view of course is breathtaking and everything is delicious and service above n beyond. Really delicious food ..steak was so tender and just best we had on this trip.. can’t wait to try another meal.. must mention the affogato as well was superb Brian and Johnny were great host and we met nice couples staying there as well!

It was just perfect. From the start, we had a great table, even not having booked before. All waiters have been kind, friendly, joyful and accommodating. Speaking several languages, we had big fun in letting making them our stay quite a positive experience. Hiqh quality food, well seasoned and presented, at correct price, we felt the signature of the chef in our plates. The wine was well chosen and tasty. On top, the restaurant is placed right at the shore with an amazing view on the mountains, which glow during sunset. Excellent!

A fancier restaurant and a very well operated one! The service was EXCELLENT! The server was entertaining and interactive! Not so common from what we’ve experienced so far. The food is beyond good! Easily the best we’ve eaten in Italy in over a week! My wife and I split the salmone marinato. After I ordered the seafood pasta special of the day. My wife got the gnocchi di melanazane. Afterwards we split the Tiramisu. Everything was amazing. No complaints, we will come back again. While we’re here. We never revisit but will back an exception this time!

The entire staff was so well accommodating during our three night stay. Our room had just undergone a beautiful remodel overlooking the water and outstanding views. Make sure to book a boat tour with Philipo and Daniello* to see the beautiful Villas with their meticulous, flowing grounds. Both guys have lots of information to share about the various parts of the lake. We dined in the cozy restaurant celebrating my husband’s birthday. It was the perfect meal and great service. His surprise dessert was much appreciated too! *Sorry for misspelling?

Al Molo 5 is a hidden gem on Lake Como! The food is delicious, the views are breathtaking, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing meal with a stunning lakeside backdrop. Worth the visit for an unforgettable experience.
